Mmmm Bubbles!

Bubble baths are so great... especially when you think it is fun to eat the bubbles! :)

Niya looks like I am trying to drown her in this picture... I am actually trying to prevent excessive bubble eating!

4 Months!!!

Niya and I went for her 4 month appointment yesterday! She is baby awesome! Currently she is 95% in her height at 26 inches long, 88% in her weights at 15 lbs, 11 oz and is ahead of the developmental stages. She smiled and laughed with the doctor!

She got her immunizations (second round) and sailed through that with a smile. Well she did turn beet red and scream bloody murder at the time... but then a boob made it all better, as boobs have a tendency to do! :)

As the doctor was leaving she turned with a puzzled smile and said "usually I have something to recommend, some advice... something.... but in this case, I've got nothing! She is perfect!"

Hmmm... I couldn't have said it better myself! :)

My Two Favorite People!

I just LOVE this picture of my two favorite people. We were getting ready for a walk the other day and laughing at the similarities in these two faces...
I just wish I could have caught Niya's chin in either of these shots... it really makes them look alike! :)

A chair at the table!

Niya is very interested in what we do at the table. From her swing she will try to get our attention, watch us eat, drool and smile and otherwise try to be part of whatever is going on. It seemed time to get her a seat of her own so she can at least sit with us, even if she isn't ready to actually eat yet. As you can tell, she likes the seat and seems determined to stare at the spoon until the food actually appears... from the grip on the tray you can tell she is trying to will it to happen! :)

When all else fails, might as well try to eat the spoon!

Mini Me... well Mini Kevin actually...

Everyone keeps saying that Niya looks so much like Kevin that all she needs is a pair of glasses to complete the picture... a little "mini-me". The other day we were goofing around and decided to try on Daddy's glasses... the result... HILARIOUS!!!

Poor kid, you know she cannot see a thing with Daddy's prescription. She doesn't seem to know what to think about the whole experience. :D

The "Big Kid" Bath Tub

Niya has outgrown the sink, and so it was time to move to the real bathtub. She loves it! Now she can splash around and wiggle and she just smiles and shows off all of her new "swimming" skills

Carpool Buddies

On our way to mommy group the other day Niya and I picked up our friends Asher and Meegan. Asher and Niya were so interested in having a buddy in the back seat and we mommies just couldn't resist a few pictures of how cute they looked side by side!
