Growing Too Fast...

Just an update... Niya is officially starting to wear 6 month+ clothes!!!

She still fits into some of the 3-6 month stuff but she is too long for most of it! No more little clothes for this girl! ;)

Swinging

Niya really wants to hold her head up and has discovered that she can do it in the swing too! She is very determined and looks like a little surfer as she sways in order to stay upright as the swing moves. Totally cute!

Sleeping in her own room...

We have moved Niya from the Pack-N-Play in our room to her own room. She is now sleeping in her crib for nighttime and naps! WooHoo! :)

However, after a nice long nights sleep, about 9-10 hours, in her own bed she really likes to have breakfast in our bed and often drifts off for another tiny cat nap! I try not to bring her back into our bed very often but who can resist this...

Baby Story Time

I took Niya to the library for the baby story time today and she absolutely LOVED it! She looked around at all the other babies and listened to the songs and I did the motions with her... and she was so happy. It must have been very stimulating for her because we barely made it out of the library building and she was fast asleep! It was so cute!

We will be back next week... clearly she is out-going enough to enjoy this activity already! :)

Hanging Out!

Niya has just discovered that she has feet and she loves to look at them and move them around. she also likes to suck on her fists when she is just hanging out. If you watch to the end, you will hear why I call her "Squeak" as a nickname. When she gets sad she squeaks before she cries. :)

Niya's first camping trip

We took Niya camping for the very first time. We went to Ike Kinswa state park which is on a nice lake and stayed for a weekend. Auntie Stephanie and Uncle Tyson and Niya's cousins Hailey, Brayden, and Riley met us there along with Papa and Gramma (Dennis and Rhonda). It was great to spend time with everyone! :)
