Today was Niya's first Birthday and I think that we made it a pretty good day! :)
There were balloons, cake, books, gifts, a party dress (her choice), turning her car seat forward, drinking out of a straw, lasagna for dinner, having strawberries for all the other meals, " "skyping" with grandparents, two birthday songs, and new shoes (she didn't want to wear them, just carry them around)!
